a year ago, when we first listed our home! Here’s our story: The home sale market had been
good, so we initially attempted to sell our home on our own. Within
a day of listing our property, we began receiving phone calls (almost
daily) from a “top” agent who assured us he had qualified buyers
for our home. After a month on our own with minimal showings and
no serious buyers, we decided to interview this persistent agent.
The interview went well. He assured us that he would provide weekly
updates (which were important to us), and boasted his confidence in
selling our home within a couple of months. Well, three months
went by and the promised interaction consisted of us periodically contacting
him for updates. There were none. This agent never once
personally showed our home. At the end of the contract there was
